Shagufa Godme is a highly skilled and dedicated physiotherapist with over eight years of experience in the healthcare field. She is from Maharashtra, India and has graduated from Maharashtra University of Health and Science in 2017 from Pune. She got a license to practice her profession as a Physiotherapist that same year.
Throughout her career, Shagufa has worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics and private practices. She had worked for 5 years in a multispecialty hospital in Pune, India where she collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with diverse needs. Her hands-on approach and compassionate nature have earned her the trust of both patients and colleagues alike.
In addition to her hospital experience, Shagufa is the proud owner of a private Physiotherapy Clinic in her hometown place in India. Here, she has the opportunity to create a client-centered environment that prioritizes personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient unique problems. She managed her clinic from January 2022 to March 2023.
Shagufa attended many workshops and has got certification as a Practitioner in Dry Needling, Dry Cupping, Wet Cupping (Hijamah), Mulligan Manual Therapy Concepts, Antenatal and Postnatal Rehab in Physiotherapy and Pilates. She includes these advanced skills in her treatment plan to ensure her patients benefit from the highest standards of care.
Her expertise spans various aspects of Physiotherapy, including Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Neurological conditions, Orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, geriatric cases, gynecology as well as pediatrics. She believes in educating her patients about their conditions and the importance of active participation in their rehabilitation process. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals restore their mobility, enhance their physical performance and improve their quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic practices.
In August 2024, she started her career in Bahrain by passing the Bahrain Physical Therapy Licensure Examination and at present she is a senior staff in a trusted institution, in AlFardan Physiotherapy Center.
