Some treatment can be uncomfortable but with the therapist care and guidance you will certainly be able to tolerate the discomfort you would come across. Your physiotherapist will give you clear guidelines on what to expect during and after treatment and what should be your normal reaction. If you have any concern, do not hesitate to seek your physiotherapist assistance.

Yes, you can stop your treatment at any time. However, we do recommend that you complete the planned treatment course as muscles require the full course of treatment to return to normal working function. Unplanned seizure of physiotherapy treatment might cause some repercussions to your condition.
If you feel the treatment is not achieving the anticipated results, feel free to discuss it with your physiotherapist, as they may be able to offer clarifications or alternative treatments to achieve your desired results.
If you have to stop treatment for any reason, you will be welcome later to return to physiotherapy when the time permits. If the stoppage is longer than 6 weeks, we will need a new referral from your physician. The physiotherapist will need to complete a full review of your initial assessment before recommencing your physiotherapy treatment.
