Physiotherapist
Vandhana Ebinezer is from Coimbatore City, Tamil Nadu, India wherein she was born and grew up.
She studied at The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University where she took a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and graduated in 2010 followed by, she graduated her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy as she Specialized in Neurology in 2012. She got a license to practice her profession as a Physiotherapist Specialist that same year.
As a newbie, she volunteered as a Physiotherapist Specialist. As she worked in different hospitals as a part of rehabilitation team, she gained more knowledge and skills throughout her work experiences and upon dealing with all kinds of people.
After years of practice in the India, Vandhana decided to expand her horizon and tried her luck in other country. She passed the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) Physical Therapy Licensure Examination and joined in Saudi Arabia, Ministry of Health and worked as a Physiotherapist Specialist in 2013 to 2017.
In 2017, she decided to go back to the India due to personal reasons and still practiced her work as Physiotherapist Specialist (Neurology) in Peoples Medical Center and Hospital till 2023.
As time went by, Vandhana got certification as a Practitioner in Dry Needling, Cupping, IASTM and Taping. She Practices using it as an additional skill for her treatments as it has a better approach than the conventional Physiotherapy treatment.
Her areas of expertise are Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Orthopedics, Stroke management, neurological condition, gynecology as well as pediatrics. She assesses patients’ rehabilitation needs, jointly develops patients plans of care and treatment goals and conducts physiotherapy programs for medically complex patients (children till geriatrics), influenced in multi-disciplinary team approach. She is exposed in a vast majority of neuro cases, such as cerebral vascular disease, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and some other nerve injuries related cases as these are her areas of specialty and interests.
In September 2023, she started her career in Bahrain by passing the Bahrain Physical Therapy Licensure Examination and at present she is a senior staff in a trusted institution, in AlFardan Physiotherapy Center.
